As we scale rapidly across a complex supplier portfolio, ensuring that any safety risks are swiftly identified, acted upon and resolved is critical. Our audit programme surfaces issues across our directly contracted suppliers and our ability to remediate those findings at pace is central to keeping our customers safe. \n As Customer Health & Safety Officer, you will bring professional expertise and operational judgement to bear on a complex, high-volume supplier portfolio. You will assess audit findings, determine the level of risk they present, make informed recommendations to suppliers on how issues should be remediated and,where relevant, make confident, reasoned decisions to accept risk in a controlled manner where the evidence supports it.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable owning those calls and standing behind them. \n You will report to the Customer Health & Safety Manager within the Legal & Compliance team. Your focus is operational execution, ensuring that risks identified across our supplier portfolio are tracked, chased and resolved at pace. Your day-to-day: \n \n \nIssue Management & Remediation (Primary Focus)\n \n \nReview audit findings and assess supplier safety risks\n \n \nManage remediation actions and track progress through to closure\n \n \nConduct follow-up reviews and escalate unresolved issues where needed\n \n \nMaintain accurate audit records and issue tracking\n \n\n\n \nAudit Programme Coordination\n \n \nCoordinate risk-based supplier audits with external providers\n \n \nMaintain risk registers and monitor supplier risk profiles\n \n \nPrepare risk summaries and recommendations for management review\n \n\n\n \nIncident Investigation Support\n \n \nSupport investigations into customer safety incidents and near-misses\n \n \nAssist with root cause analysis and corrective actions\n \n \nTrack incident trends and support legal/CX evidence requests\n \n\n\n \nSupplier Liaison\n \n \nAct as the main contact for supplier health and safety matters\n \n \nDrive timely responses to safety concerns and remediation actions\n \n \nSupport suppliers in meeting loveholidays’ safety standards\n \n\n\n\n Your skillset: \n \n \nHighly organised with strong attention to detail\n \n \nStrong analytical, problem-solving and risk assessment skills\n \n \nConfident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills\n \n \nAble to manage multiple priorities and drive actions to completion\n \n \nProficient with reporting, tracking and data management tools\n \n \nUnderstanding of health & safety or compliance principles\n \n \nSelf-motivated, resilient and comfortable working independently\n \n\n Desirable: \n \n \nExperience in travel, hospitality, risk, compliance or auditing\n \n \nHealth & Safety qualification (or working towards one)\n \n \nExperience managing supplier relationships or third-party audits\n \n \nFamiliarity with incident investigation or root cause analysis\n \n \nInterest in using AI tools to improve efficiency and reporting\n \n\n The interview journey: \n \n \nTalent Acquisition Partner screening - 30 mins\n \n \n1st stage with Customer Health & Safety Manager plus HR Business Partner - 45 mins\n \n \n2nd stage with Customer Health & Safety Manager and General Counsel in person - 60 mins\n \n\n Perks of joining us: \n \n \nCompany pension contributions at 5%.\n \n \nIndividualised training budget for you to learn on the job and level yourself up.\n \n \nDiscounted holidays for you, your family and friends.\n \n \n25 days of holidays per annum (plus 8 public holidays) increases by 1 day for every second year of service, up to a maximum 30 days per annum.\n \n \nAbility to buy and sell annual leave.\n \n \nCycle to work scheme, season ticket loan and eye care vouchers.\n \n\n At loveholidays, we focus on developing an inclusive culture and environment that encourages personal growth and collective success.
