Job Description
Required Experience & Qualifications ● Minimum 5 years of Customer Service experience within a manufacturing, packaging, or distribution environment (mandatory) ● Strong experience managing large customer accounts and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction ● Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory) ● Experience working with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems for order processing and customer order management ● Experience working with manual order entry processes and legacy ERP systems, preferably Sage ERP ● Comfortable operating in environments where orders must be entered manually and processes are not fully automated ● Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment ● Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities ● Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and service standards ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills Key Responsibilities ● Manage customer accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for order-related inquiries ● Process and manage customer orders received through EDI systems and manual order entry ● Coordinate with internal departments including sales, operations, production, and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment ● Maintain accurate customer records and order information within the ERP system ● Resolve customer issues, order discrepancies, and service-related concerns in a professional and timely manner ● Monitor account activity and provide ongoing support to key customers ● Contribute to overall customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth initiatives Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing, packaging, or distribution background and possess strong customer service experience supporting large accounts in a fast-paced environment. They will be highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, proficient in Excel and EDI systems, and capable of navigating manual processes within a legacy ERP environment while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
