As we continue to expand our Digital Operations team, we are looking for an experienced Digital Asset Management (DAM) Team Lead with strong expertise in Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM) to lead our DAM operations supporting global pharmaceutical clients.

About the Role

As the DAM Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Digital Asset Management professionals while ensuring the integrity, governance, organisation, and lifecycle management of promotional and non-promotional assets within the Veeva Vault PromoMats platform.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments, strong knowledge of metadata governance and asset workflows, and a demonstrated track record of managing teams and driving operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of over 20 DAM professionals.
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Coach team members and promote continuous learning and development.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Digital Asset Management

• Manage digital assets within the Veeva Vault PromoMats platform.
• Maintain metadata accuracy, taxonomy, and asset organisation.
• Ensure efficient asset retrieval through standardised tagging practices.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management, version control, and archival processes.

Metadata & Content Governance

• Develop and maintain metadata standards and governance frameworks.
• Review asset quality before approval to ensure metadata completeness.
• Improve searchability and discoverability of digital assets.
• Ensure consistent taxonomy across all promotional content.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all assets comply with pharmaceutical and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Validate promotional material distribution packages.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support governance initiatives.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Brand Teams, and external vendors.
• Coordinate source file collection and resolve asset-related issues.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to optimise workflows and reduce turnaround time.
• Develop SOPs and best practices for DAM operations.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Digital Asset Management.
• Proven experience working with Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM).
• Previous experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience leading teams of 8-20 members.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, taxonomy, asset governance, and content lifecycle management.
• Experience with promotional material review and approval workflows.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with global pharmaceutical clients.
• Knowledge of DAM implementation or migration projects.
• Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of digital content compliance in regulated industries.
• Exposure to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
