About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support business decision-making. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
The candidate will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver data-driven solutions, build reports and dashboards, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms. A strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and proficiency in data tools are essential to drive business performance and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful business insights. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI/Tableau to support decision making. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. • Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all data sources.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently. • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and provide actionable recommendations. Support ad-hoc analysis requests and present findings in a clear and concise manner. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, finance, and operations. Automate recurring reports and improve existing reporting processes for efficiency. • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Required Skills & Experience • 5–7 years of experience in BI, visualization, data analysis, and reporting solutions. • Strong hands-on experience in building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. • Strong SQL skills with the ability to explore data, write queries, create views, and prepare reporting-ready datasets. • Good understanding of data profiling, data validation, data quality checks, and metric reconciliation. • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. • Ability to work with business users to understand reporting needs and convert them into dashboards, metrics, and self-service views. • Python, Streamlet, financial services, or enterprise risk analytics exposure is good to have, but not mandatory for this role. Good to Have • Strong experience in data analysis, data interpretation, and reporting. • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning. • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau • Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). • Exposure to Python or R for data analysis and automation is preferred. • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data validation and cleansing. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to present data insights to stakeholders. • Experience in financial services, investment management, or related domains is an added advantage. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
