Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts Location: Tinsukia, Assam Industry: Healthcare / Hospital Experience: 5–8 Years Compensation: Negotiable (Accommodation may be provided) Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: CEO About the Role Our Client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee their hospital's financial operations, accounting processes, statutory compliance, cash flow management, and revenue controls. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial discipline, accurate reporting, and effective support to management through timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities Accounts & Finance Maintain books of accounts and financial records. Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS, and management reports. Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Support budgeting, cost analysis, and expenditure monitoring. Revenue & Billing Monitor patient billing, collections, and revenue reconciliation. Track receivables from insurance companies, TPAs, corporates, and government schemes.
Ensure timely collection and accurate accounting of revenue. Payables & Banking Verify vendor bills and process payments after necessary approvals. Manage vendor reconciliations and banking transactions.
Prepare and monitor cash flow statements. Compliance & Payroll Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements. Verify payroll processing, statutory deductions, and reimbursements.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Reporting & Controls Prepare daily collection reports and monthly MIS. Strengthen internal controls and support internal/external audits.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records. Team Management Supervise billing and cashier teams. Drive process discipline, accuracy, and staff development.
Required Qualifications CA Inter / M.Com / B.Com with relevant finance and accounting experience. Experience 5–8 years of experience in Accounts & Finance. Prior experience in the healthcare or hospital industry will be preferred.
Required Skills Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Hospital Management Software. Excellent analytical, reconciliation, communication, and team management skills.
