Director of MICE Sales

What You Need to Know:

We have an exciting senior opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Director of MICE Sales. In this leadership role, you’ll take charge of driving residential corporate group business across both domestic and international markets, working within a high-performing commercial team in a luxury hospitality environment.

Your New Job:

As Director of MICE Sales, you’ll spearhead all proactive sales activity for meetings, incentives, conferences and events, reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. You’ll provide commercial direction and day-to-day leadership to both the Sales and Events teams. You’ll be hands‑on in market engagement, account development and business conversion, ensuring strong enquiry management and revenue performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively generate and convert residential corporate group business opportunities
• Identify, target, and develop new and existing client accounts
• Lead and motivate Sales and Events teams to deliver commercial objectives
• Represent the property at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities
• Oversee enquiry handling standards, response times, and conversion ratios
• Develop strategic account plans and drive repeat business
• Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Analyse and report on sales and pipeline performance

What Are We Looking For?

• Minimum 3 years’ hotel sales experience with strong exposure to the MICE sector
• Demonstrated track record in proactive business development and revenue generation
• Experience in selling meetings, incentives, conferences or group events
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong commercial awareness and organisational ability
• High level of self‑motivation and ability to work independently
