Join a leading software client as a Business Development Associate in downtown Toronto. This hybrid role emphasizes outbound prospecting and engagement with founders to explore M&A opportunities.
This position seeks motivated individuals with backgrounds in business development, sales, or outbound B2B roles. As a member of the mergers and acquisitions team, you’ll be responsible for proactively identifying, reaching out to, and developing relationships with key decision-makers in the software industry. Success in this fast-paced role requires creativity and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities: • Identify and research acquisition-targeted software companies • Engage in high-volume outreach through various channels • Develop and sustain relationships with founders • Maintain updated CRM records with pipeline activity • Assess opportunities against company criteria
Requirements: • 1–4 years in outbound sales or business development • Proven success in initiating conversations through outreach • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities • Highly organized in managing pipeline activities • Proactive and accountable in achieving targets
