Job Summary:
This role is for a Finance Associate responsible for managing the activities pertaining to EST Operations handled by outsourced partners ensuring accurate payroll process, provisions, financial closing, strict compliance with labor and tax laws, managing various audits, sharp analytics with high quality insights and KPI / SLA achievements with complete end-to-end ownership.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for timely and accurate payroll processing, month, quarter & Annual book closure activities for all the India entities.
- You will be responsible for thorough review of all the employee balances (both payable and recoverable) and ensure hygiene of accounts, adherence to company policies
- You will be responsible for monitoring the various employee payments, ensure accuracy with timely accounting and regular review of associated accounts in Trial Balance with end to end ownership and schedules.
- You will be responsible for regular monitoring of all employee expense claims submitted in various forms, ensure accuracy, initiate digital controls to avoid incorrect and duplicate claims, regularly tracking all the open advances/Corporate card transactions in employee vendor accounts and ensuring there are no aged balances beyond 90 days
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the MIS and schedules are prepared monthly and thoroughly reviewed and initiate necessary actions with cross functional teams aiding in decision making.
- You will be responsible for regular monitoring of the activities handled through various business partners for accuracy, timeliness, SLA improvements with regular governance mechanism and ensuring speedy resolution of employee queries eying for enhanced experience continuously
- You will be responsible for engaging with auditors to resolve queries and ensure smooth audit closure, while maintaining compliance with RCMs and SOX requirements
- You will be responsible for strict compliance with various labor laws and tax laws and ensure to align the internal processes according to enacted laws and monitoring amendments regularly.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification
CA / CMA or equivalent is mandatory. Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration would be an added advantage
Minimum Work Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Skills & Attributes & Critical Exposures Functional Skills
Financial Accounting with relevant SAP knowledge
• Strong in big Data Analytics, Eye for opportunities in automation and build strong process controls
• Building Internal Controls, SOP preparation, SOX documentation and periodic governance.
