Finance Associate

Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Finance Associate to join our growing Finance team at Brand Talk India. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and eager to build a career in finance and accounting within a fast-paced agency environment. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, assisting with compliance and reconciliations, and ensuring smooth coordination across internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate books of accounts, including sales, purchase, and
• expense entries in Tally.
• GST & Tax Compliance: Prepare data for GST returns, TDS filings, and coordinate timely tax
• payments.
• Payroll Management: Oversee Salary Calculation, deductions, and compliance with labor laws.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors, ensure compliance with statutory
• regulations, and maintain audit - ready records.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and analyzing
• variances.
• Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized records of financial documents, invoices, contracts,
• and agreements.

Qualifications:

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience - Minimum 1+ years experience in Indian Accounting, including GST, TDS, and Payroll
• Management.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Advance Excel skills, familiarity with other accounting tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, statutory compliance, and financial regulations.
