This role is ideal for someone who excels at balancing project execution, resource planning, and staff leadership. The successful candidate will bring strong project management skills, the ability to interpret and manage budgets and proposals, and the leadership presence required to guide, coach, and develop a high‑performing team.In this position, you will serve as both a hands‑on operational leader and a people manager responsible for cultivating talent, setting expectations, and ensuring teams deliver high‑quality work.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Leadership & Team ManagementProvide fiscal project management and strategic growth for the officeBe able to produce costs from online bids and track proposalsHire, retain, and attract top talent to build a strong and capable team.Lead, mentor, and manage full-time and seasonal staff to foster a productive, professional workenvironmentSet expectations for performance, punctuality, and workplace conductOrganize daily operations and guide teams to meet project goals efficientlyParticipate in company meetings, trainings, and provide constructive feedback to staff andleadershipRepresent the company professionally with clients, vendors, and partnersBuild and maintain strong working relationships to support company goalsOperations & Project OversightOversee daily office and field operations, scheduling, invoicing, and resource allocationJob DescriptionMonitor project progress, budgets, and quality to ensure client satisfactionProvide regular updates to executive leadership on operational and project performanceIdentify opportunities to optimize processes, workflows, and project profitabilityAssist with project support as needed, including field work, monitoring, and reportingTravel to project sites as required to support operations and team oversightBusiness Development & Administrative LeadershipManage office operations, administrative workflows, and reporting systemsLead proposal development, invoicing, and recordkeeping processesMaintain communication and coordination between staff, management, clients, and vendorsSafety, Training & ComplianceEnsure safety, regulatory, and compliance standards are met across all operationsOversee staff training on tasks, equipment, and safety proceduresMaintain required licenses and ensure adherence to company policiesWHAT YOU WILL NEED:Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management or Similar3 years of experience as a managerProven leadership and management experienceAbility to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneouslyStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsExperience with budgeting, invoicing, scheduling, and operational oversightKEY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:Commercial Applicator License with State of New Mexico or willingness to obtain upon employmentQualified Supervisor in Colorado for herbicide applicationsNoxious Weed Control and Management ExperienceReclamation experienceJob DescriptionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:You must be physically fit to be able to work in field, navigating rough terrain.Work Environment & TravelWillingness to accommodate routine travel, extended field assignments up to 10 days at a time, and evolving project demands based upon project needs.This is a hybrid field/office-based work environment, with travel to project sites and client locations as needed (approx. 50 percent of the time).A clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screening.WHAT YOU WILL GET:This is a full-time, salaried role with compensation commensurate with your experience and expertise.
