About the role The Executive Assistant at Sonder is a key partner to the CEO, providing reliable and skilled support to ensure time, priorities, and operations are managed efficiently. The role supports the wider Executive Team, coordinating critical tasks and reducing administrative load so leaders can focus on what matters most. What you’ll be doing Manage and optimise complex calendars, balancing competing priorities across the CEO and Executive Team.
Coordinate high‑stakes meetings, board sessions, investor interactions, and external engagements with precision. Draft, edit, and refine executive communications, reports, and board‑level presentations to the highest professional standard. Anticipate challenges, resolve scheduling conflicts, and streamline workflows to maximise executive efficiency.
Plan and execute domestic and international travel and events, ensuring seamless itineraries and logistics. Leverage digital and AI tools to enhance research, automate tasks, and deliver efficient, data‑driven outputs. Uphold absolute discretion in handling sensitive matters and confidential information.
Provide personal support to the CEO, ensuring professional and personal commitments are coordinated effectively. Who are we looking for? 10+ years of experience supporting C‑suite leaders, with expertise across calendar management, executive communications, and board engagement. Proven ability to deliver professional support to CEOs and senior executives while balancing personal assistance with discretion and care.
Experience providing coordination and operational support to Executive Teams, helping them focus on strategic initiatives. Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, PowerPoint, and modern productivity platforms, plus demonstrated use of AI tools to drive efficiency and quality. Exceptional written and verbal communication, producing concise and compelling outputs for board, investor, and external audiences.
A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, anticipating needs, identifying improvements, and acting before being asked. High resilience and adaptability, thriving under pressure and navigating shifting priorities with composure. A collaborative, trusted partner approach, with the judgment and discretion to manage sensitive information and complex dynamics.
