Position Description The Executive Assistant will deliver comprehensive administrative and operational support to the CEO in a 1:1 arrangement.
This role is vital to ensuring seamless daily operations, fostering effective communication, and driving cross-organizational coordination. The ideal candidate will manage internal communications, spearhead special projects, and oversee administrative processes with the utmost professionalism and organization. Key Responsibilities Executive Support: Manage a complex executive calendar, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule meetings, and oversee leadership events to optimize daily operations.
Meeting & Project Management: Prepare meeting materials, compile read-ahead documents, track action items, execute follow-ups, and lead special projects utilizing Microsoft 365 productivity tools. Event Coordination: Plan and execute corporate events, including offsite meetings, client engagements, conference agendas, and team morale activities. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact between executives, staff, clients, and external partners while drafting high-level reports, presentations, and internal announcements.
Qualifications Required Experience & Skills Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred, combined with a minimum of five years of experience in administrative, office management, or executive support roles (ideally within a professional services sector). Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proven track record of managing competing priorities with sharp attention to detail while supporting personnel at all organizational tiers.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 tools, with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential data discreetly in a fast-paced environment. Leadership Support: Prior experience directly assisting senior executives or corporate leadership teams. Preferred Attributes (Bonus Points) GovCon Familiarity: Background working within government contracting environments, including collaborating with cleared personnel and managing sensitive information.
Content Creation: Hands-on experience developing executive-level presentations, briefings, and reports for strategic leadership discussions. Industry Knowledge: Prior exposure to the National Security, defense, or federal contracting sectors. Clearance & Schedule Security Clearance: Active clearance or ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S.
Government security clearance. Work Schedule: Hybrid. Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
This hybrid position requires onsite presence at the Northern Virginia office three days per week, with occasional evening or weekend flexibility as required.
