Role Overview
Repairs and Maintenance manager is Responsible for ensuring all properties are safe, functional, and operational by managing repairs and preventive maintenance on time. The manager must also manage assets, vendors, and maintenance teams. Oversees property readiness before go-live, maintains high engineering and maintenance standards across all locations so that guests have great experiences across all properties.
Qualifications.
- Must own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for travel between properties.
- Must be willing to relocate to Coorg.
- Candidates from Coorg Mysore or Mangalore are preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in repairs & maintenance, facilities management, engineering operations, or hospitality maintenance..
- Experience managing maintenance teams, vendors, and multiple properties is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil works, and general building maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and maintenance tracking systems
- Strong planning, troubleshooting, vendor management, and team leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day repairs and maintenance activities across assigned properties.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure property uptime.
- Respond to maintenance issues promptly and ensure timely resolution with minimal operational disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance requirements and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team by allocating work, monitoring performance, and providing guidance.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, assets, equipment, and service history.
- Manage maintenance inventory, tools, spare parts, and budgets efficiently.
- Collaborate with Operations, Housekeeping, Procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless property operations
