A field recruiter's job is to find potential candidates for
a company, and to help ensure that the company's hiring goals are
met. They may also represent the company at job fairs and trade shows.
Responsibilities
· Recruiting : Attract candidates through social media, professional
networks, and other channels
· Screening : Review resumes and applications, and screen candidates
· Interviewing : Conduct interviews with applicants
· Negotiating : Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with
candidates
· Planning : Develop and implement recruitment strategies
· Networking : Build and maintain relationships with potential
candidates, industry contacts, and colleges
· Job fairs : Represent the company at job fairs and trade shows
· Hiring goals : Work with the HR office to refine hiring goals
· Job postings : Maintain job postings on career pages and other
employment websites
· Offer letters : Create offer letters
· Travel : Coordinate candidate interviews and travel, and manage
related expenses
Field recruiters may also identify new resources to drive
candidate identification and attraction.
