Job Title: Finance & Accounting Associate Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Mumbai, India About Polyvault Auto Polyvault Auto is an automotive solutions company specializing in innovative vehicle protection products, including shelters and storage solutions for motorcycles and cars. The company serves both B2B and B2C customers across India and focuses on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth. Position Summary The Finance & Accounting Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, bookkeeping, taxation support, and financial analysis.
The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to support business decision-making through timely financial information. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Record and maintain daily financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Prepare and post journal entries. Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and vendor statements. Maintain accurate ledgers and supporting documentation.
Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Monitor business performance and identify financial trends.
Support management with financial analysis and reporting. Taxation & Compliance Assist with GST filings, TDS compliance, and statutory reporting. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain records for audits and compliance reviews. Budgeting & Cash Flow Management Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements. Track operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.
Inventory & Operational Finance Monitor inventory-related accounting transactions. Reconcile inventory records with sales and procurement data. Analyze product profitability and operational costs.
Support financial controls across procurement, logistics, and sales operations. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Experience 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience with e-commerce, manufacturing, automotive, or consumer products businesses is preferred. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis).
Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems. Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements. What We Offer Opportunity to work with a growing automotive products company.
