Finance Accounting Intern

Job Details At Taar AI, we're building something ambitious, and we're looking for someone equally serious about learning the finance function of a growing startup from the ground up.

This is a 6-month internship with a clear path to a full-time role for the right person. You'll work directly with our founding team, which means real ownership, real exposure, and a front-row seat to how an early-stage company runs its finances.

Role Description

1. Maintaining and managing the books of accounts
2. Handling TDS/TCS filings
3. Managing GST filings and compliance
4. Vendor management and coordination
5. Supporting day-to-day finance, compliance and accounting operations

What we're looking for:

• A Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or a related discipline —> B.Com, B.Com (A&F)/BAF, BBI, BMS, BBA (Finance), or equivalent
• CA Inter qualified, or CA articleship completed
• CS Executive qualified candidates are also welcome to apply

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Finance concepts, Indian tax/compliance basics, and ability to interpret Financial Statements.
• Solid Analytical Skills to support data-driven insights and basic financial analysis.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software and general accounting principles.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting financial information clearly.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Zoho Books, Powerpoint, TRACES, E-filing and other tools for financial modelling and taxation reporting.
• Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
• Interest in technology or SaaS businesses is an advantage.

Stipend Details

• Stipend: ₹15,000-₹20,000/month
• Duration: 6 months, with potential to convert to full-time based on performance
• Location: We're based in Bangalore. Remote is welcome, but if you're in the city, even better, we'd love to have you around
