Finance Intern

Motul Singapore invites a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to support our Finance team in day-to-day financial analysis, process improvement and internal audit activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to business operations, financial processes and data analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Selected intern(s) will also have the opportunity to be part of our young talent programme, Motul’s Most Promising - The First Mile, a regional programme held in Ho Chi Minh City, where interns across the region come together for learning, collaboration and exposure. Area of ResponsibilitySupport the Finance team in analysing business processes across finance, operations, supply chain and commercial functionsAssist in identifying inefficiencies, control gaps and opportunities for process improvementPerform internal audit support activities, including process walkthroughs, documentation and basic testing of key controlsSupport the review of compliance with company policies, SOPs and internal control requirementsCollect, analyse and validate data such as costs, KPIs and productivity metrics to support business insights and decision-makingAssist in preparing management reports, dashboards and analysis decks with clear and structured insightsSupport the preparation of internal audit reports, findings and improvement recommendationsAssist in standardising and documenting processes to enhance efficiency and audit readinessCoordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data, track progress and support follow-up actionsMaintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of data and reports

Key RequirementsCurrently pursuing a Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related disciplineStrong interest in data analysis, financial reporting and business insightsProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointGood analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and communication skillsProactive, able to take initiative and work well in a team environmentFluent in English, both written and spokenAvailable for a full-time internship of 3 to 6 monthsPlease state your internship availability and duration in your application
