Job SummaryEntrepreneur Resorts is looking for a Finance Manager for our Bali Resorts will be a dynamic and experienced leader responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of our portfolio of resorts in Bali. This role requires a visionary individual with a proven track record in luxury hospitality management, business development, and team leadership.The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations,strategy, and reporting for our portfolio of luxury resorts located across Bali. This role requires ahighly experienced, strategic, and hands-on finance professional capable of driving profitability,ensuring financial compliance, and supporting the executive team in long-term strategicplanning.
The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the Indonesian hospitality market,local tax regulations, and international financial reporting standards.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and ReportingManage the day-to-day financial operations of multiple resort properties, includinggeneral ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Prepare and analyze timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financialstatements in accordance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP)and local regulations.Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.Maintain strong internal controls and safeguards over company assets and financialrecords.Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.Budgeting, Forecasting, and AnalysisLead the annual budgeting process for all Bali resorts, working closely with GeneralManagers and department heads to develop realistic and ambitious financial targets.Develop robust financial forecasts (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) to anticipatebusiness performance and identify potential risks or opportunities.Conduct in-depth financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs), operationalefficiency, cost management, and revenue streams (e.g., F&B, rooms, spa).Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial insights tooptimize profitability and operational performance.Taxation and ComplianceEnsure full compliance with all Indonesian tax laws, including VAT, corporate tax, andwithholding tax (PPh).Manage local government and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., StatistikPariwisata, local tourism levies).Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in Indonesian financial regulations andimplement necessary adjustments.Oversee treasury functions, cash flow management, and banking relationships inIndonesia.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the on-site finance teams across the various resort locations.Establish and enforce high standards for financial best practices and integrity within thefinance department.Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency across all resort operations.QualificationsEssentialMinimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 3 yearsin a Senior Management position (e.g., Financial Controller, Finance Director).Proven experience in the hospitality or resort industry, preferably in a multi-propertyenvironment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalentProfessional certification is highly desirable.Expert-level knowledge of Indonesian tax law and compliance requirements.Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) is mandatory.Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, major hotelPMS/POS systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.DesirableExperience with pre-opening finance planning for new resorts.Familiarity with international foreign exchange dynamics and their impact on resortfinances.Demonstrated ability to implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising guestexperience.AttributesStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of integrity, professional ethics, and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting withexecutive management, operations teams, and external stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritiessimultaneously.
