Samora AI (YC W26) is building a managed multilingual voice AI platform replacing BPO headcount for high-volume calling. We're live with enterprise and SME clients across NBFC collections, recruitment screening, D2C, social impact, and government verticals. Our finance function spans commercial operations requiring hands-on financial management, compliance, and reporting.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Finance Manager to own the day-to-day financial management across our entities. This is a hands-on role — you'll be managing books, handling compliance filings, preparing reports for partners, and keeping our financial house in order as we scale. If you're completing your articleship or have early experience in accounting and finance, you're welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end accounting in Tally ERP — ledgers, reconciliations, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Handle inter-entity transactions and prepare consolidated financial statements. Track project budgets, fund utilization, and cost allocation.
• Own all statutory filings: GST (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), TDS, PF/ESI, PT, and ITR.
• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, CSR rules, and FCRA where applicable. Coordinate with external auditors, company secretaries, and legal advisors.
• Prepare utilization reports, financial statements, and fund reconciliations for institutional partners. Support financial reporting for corporate and project-based partnerships.
• Monitor cash flow, burn rate, receivables, and fund utilization.
• Review financial terms in MoUs, vendor agreements, contracts, and partnership deals.
• Maintain proper documentation for grants, disbursements, invoices, and tax filings.

Who Should Apply

Bachelor's in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. CA articleship candidates or CA Inter / MBA Finance candidates are encouraged to apply. 1+ years of hands-on experience in finance or accounting (articleship experience counts).

Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and GST/TDS filing portals. Familiarity with CSR funding, donor reporting, and statutory compliance frameworks is desirable.
