This is a hands-on role involving financial planning and analysis, reporting, compliance, and process building.You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, bring structure to finance operations, and improve overall business efficiency in a project-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and timely recording of all financial transactionsDrive accounts payable and receivable, including billing, collections, and vendor paymentsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash FlowClose books within defined timelines for month-end and year-endLead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisTrack project-level costs, monitor expenses, and identify cost optimization opportunitiesManage working capital including receivables, payables, and cash flow planningEnsure end-to-end compliance with:Direct Taxation: Income Tax, TDS, assessments, and noticesIndirect Taxation: GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC validationOther statutory requirements such as PF and Professional TaxClose statutory, tax, and internal audits, including preparation of schedules and resolution of audit queriesDrive closure of overdue receivables and vendor reconciliationsBuild and continuously improve SOPs for accounting, billing, payments, and reportingEnforce internal controls, policy adherence, and data integrityWork closely with Sales, Operations, HR, and Project teams for financial alignmentBuild MIS, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Google Sheets, Power Query, and Power BIDeliver actionable financial insights to leadership for decision-makingEducation & Experience (Mandatory)Qualification:Chartered Accountant (CA) - MandatoryExperience:3-5 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & AccountsStrong hands-on experience in finalisation of accounts, GST, TDS, audit handling, and working capital managementHands-on expertise in Tally, Microsoft Excel, and Zoho Books for accounting, reconciliations, and reportingExperience in project-based industries such as interior design, construction, real estate, or contracting will be preferredSkills RequiredStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingGood grasp of cash flow and working capital managementHigh attention to detail and analytical abilityStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsOwnership mindset with a process-driven approachWhy Join UsHigh ownership role with direct access to leadership and decision-makingOpportunity to build and shape the finance function from the ground upFast-paced environment with strong learning and visible impact on business outcomesCompetitive pay with growth aligned to performance
