Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Finance Officer to join the team in our Milton office. It is a full‑time role where you will play a crucial part in supporting our Finance team. This will involve assisting the team to generate meaningful reports to make operational and strategic decisions.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kickstart their career in Finance & Accounting.

What you'll be doing

• Generate and populate client statements and supporting records.
• Collect and collate data from financial statements and account records for management and compliance reporting.
• Assist in preparing Excel tables and reports to summarise financial activity.
• Support various income and expense reconciliations.
• Assist in consolidating reports from Excel.
• Contribute to preparing accounting and compliance reports at regular intervals.
• Provide general administrative and operational support.
• Undertake any other suitable or relevant tasks as required.

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong intermediate MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, H/V lookups).
• Tertiary qualification in a related field such as business, economics or commerce.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Any work experience in finance will be viewed favourably.
• Proactive and self‑motivated, with a keen interest in finance & accounting.
