The Opportunity
This is a key role within MEGT (Australia) Ltd’s Finance Division, based at the Ringwood office and reporting to the Group Accountant. The position is primarily responsible for the accurate processing of accounting information and the provision of administrative support to help achieve the division’s objectives. The role supports the Gforce entity in meeting their operational and financial goals.
While the position is based at MEGT’s Ringwood Head Office, occasional travel to the Gforce office in Geelong will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver End to End Accounts Receivable services including invoicing, receipts and collections
- Complete month-end tasks such as month end journal, pre payments, accruals
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Credit card expense management
- Assist accounts payable team when required
- Assist with audit preparation and continuous improvement activities
About You
- 3 to 5 years experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience in bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Collaborative, reliable and customer-focused
- Confident using ERP systems, Microsoft applications and Excel
- Certificate III/IV in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (highly regarded)
