About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our Transactional Finance team. This is a hands‑on role providing end‑to‑end transactional finance support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, refunds, asset reconciliations and reporting, primarily supporting Australia and New Zealand.

Working closely with fellow Finance Officers and broader finance teams, you’ll help ensure accurate processing, strong internal controls and timely reconciliations, while delivering excellent stakeholder outcomes. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge‑sharing across our wider global finance community.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right. It’s also well suited to someone early in their finance career who is keen to build their experience and grow within the role.

Your key contributions include

• Processing supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations across Accounts Payable.
• Managing Accounts Receivable, including daily receipts, direct debits and customer invoicing.
• Reconciling General Ledger accounts, including asset and creditor reconciliations.
• Supporting asset management activities such as capitalisation, movements and exception reporting.
• Managing refunds, bond reconciliations and customer contract adjustments.
• Investigating variances, resolving unreconciled items and escalating risks where required.
• Maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with statutory obligations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers and auditors.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Experience in a finance or accounting support role across AP, AR and/or reconciliations (or a strong willingness to learn).
• A qualification in Finance, Accounting or Administration (highly regarded).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Solid interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in building a career in finance and continuous improvement.
