Finance Officer

Finance Officer/Intermediate Accountant | 2+ Years Experience | 75000 - 85000 | Perth, NOR

Seeking an Finance Officer/Intermediate Accountant to join a growing business in Perth. This role offers exposure across AP/AR, reconciliations, month‑end processes, intercompany accounting, and finance operations.

Ideal for someone with solid accounting experience who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and looking to grow within a supportive finance team.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and supplier payments
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and customer account reconciliations
• Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments, and reclasses
• Complete general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Support BAS preparation and statutory compliance requirements
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Manage purchase orders and supplier account queries
• Investigate and resolve coding discrepancies and variances
• Assist with reporting, process improvements, and finance administration

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
• CPA/CA studies commenced or willingness to undertake viewed favourably

Required Skills

• Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software
• Strong reconciliation and problem‑solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of general ledger, accruals, and month‑end processes
