Job DescriptionFinancial Accountant Location: Dublin Salary: Excellent salary and benefits package Working Pattern: Hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home Lex Consultancy is recruiting a Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading Financial Services Organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a highly regarded organisation in a varied role that offers exposure to financial reporting, management accounting, business partnering, regulatory reporting and audit. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll support the delivery of high-quality finance services across a diverse and evolving business.

The Role As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance function, supporting month-end reporting, statutory accounts, budgeting, audit and stakeholder management while helping to drive continuous improvement across finance processes. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end processes, including general ledger reviews, journal reviews and approvals. Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, financial reports and reconciliations.

Prepare regulatory returns for external bodies. Assist with the preparation of annual and interim financial statements under FRS 102. Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Produce ad hoc financial reports and management information. Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance activities. Support internal and external audit processes.

Partner with stakeholders across the organisation, providing financial support and guidance. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting. Assist with documenting finance procedures and controls.

Essential Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience (PQE). Experience in financial reporting and management accounting.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Experience within financial services or the banking sector. Knowledge of Infor SunSystems or similar general ledger systems.
