Financial Analyst (Contract)

Job Overview

The Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A reports to the Senior Manager and works with finance teams across regions to assist in consolidating the Annual Budget and forecast processes for Spin Master’s three creative centers. The role also involves producing and updating effective management reporting that is timely and accurate.

Key Focus Areas

• Producing/updating effective management reporting that drives insight into the business.
• Profitability reporting, cost rationalization/containment, and variance analysis.
• Support and assist in the development of SG&A reporting for shared service departments.
• Updating departmental scorecards and investigating variances.
• Partner with finance departments to continuously improve financial transparency and processes.
• Develop and analyze ad‑hoc financial reports to support the business as required.
• Assist in consolidating the Annual Budget and forecasts for all three creative centers.
• Review budget/forecast submissions to assess viability, accuracy, and sensitivity.
• Help prepare Annual Budget/Forecast presentation material and backup schedules for the Board of Directors & Founders Council.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or CPA enrollment preferred.
• Experience with SAP BPC and/or SAP BI preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation

Ontario salary range:$70,000–$80,000Per Annum. Compensation depends on experience and education.
