Financial Reporting Accountant (Hiring Immediately)

Financial Reporting Accountant $70,000 - $90,000 per year | Kalamazoo, MI | On‑Site | Permanent

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Manage general ledger reconciliations across multiple entities

Handle complex intercompany transactions, allocations, and reporting/reposting

Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations

Perform variance analysis and identify trends/discrepancies

Support internal and external audits

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Maintain reporting structures within ERP/accounting systems

Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting workflows

Assist with accounting policy and internal controls documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

2–5+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience

Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge

Experience with multi‑entity / multi‑location / multi‑property accounting environments

Experience handling complex intercompany transactions required

Workday ERP experience highly preferred

Advanced Excel and strong systems aptitude

Strong analytical/problem‑solving mindset
