Financial Reporting Accountant (Orlando)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and other required disclosures
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and equity)
• Support the financial close process, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Research and interpret technical accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP) and assist with implementation of new accounting standards
• Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of supporting documentation
• Maintain and update SEC reporting checklists, disclosure controls, and internal documentation
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, and operational teams to gather and validate financial data
• Assist with preparation of earnings materials, footnotes, and management discussion & analysis (MD&A)
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies related to financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• Public accounting experience
• Prior experience supporting public company financial reporting and SEC filings
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
