Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and other required disclosures
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and equity)
- Support the financial close process, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Research and interpret technical accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP) and assist with implementation of new accounting standards
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of supporting documentation
- Maintain and update SEC reporting checklists, disclosure controls, and internal documentation
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, and operational teams to gather and validate financial data
- Assist with preparation of earnings materials, footnotes, and management discussion & analysis (MD&A)
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies related to financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Public accounting experience
- Prior experience supporting public company financial reporting and SEC filings
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
