Financial Reporting Manager

Addison Group has partnered with a publicly traded Oil & Gas organization located in Houston, TX looking to add a Financial Reporting Manager. As a part of the Financial Reporting group, this role is a key contributor in the preparation, review, analysis and filing of both internal and external reports. This individual needs to have strong SEC reporting and technical accounting experience.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings
• Review financial statements, related schedules, and variance analysis for the monthly financial reporting package
• Draft and review memos on technical accounting matters
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and SEC reporting standards
• 2+ years experience in public accounting preferred
