Financial Reporting Manager

We're partnering with a publicly traded organization to identify a Manager of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to join a growing finance team.

This role offers a unique blend of SEC reporting, technical accounting, SOX compliance, and strategic transaction support. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance leadership and gain exposure to complex accounting matters, financial reporting initiatives, and cross-functional business projects.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual external reporting requirements
• Prepare technical accounting analyses and accounting position papers
• Research and interpret accounting guidance for complex transactions
• Assist with acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives
• Lead and support SOX compliance and internal controls activities
• Coordinate with external auditors and advisors
• Partner across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal functions
• Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting background preferred
• SEC reporting experience within a public company environment
• Strong technical accounting and US GAAP knowledge
• SOX/internal controls experience
• Experience supporting complex transactions preferred
• Strong communication and project management skills
