About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented General Manager - Operations & Sales to lead and drive retail business performance across Delhi/NCR region. The role requires strong expertise in retail operations, sales management, team leadership, customer experience, profitability, and business expansion within the fashion/apparel industry.The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, achieving sales targets, enhancing store productivity, and maintaining brand standards across all stores in the region.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business PerformanceDrive overall regional sales performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.Monitor KPIs including sales productivity, conversion, ATV, ASP, UPT, and store profitability.Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.Ensure execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal launches across stores.Retail OperationsOversee end-to-end retail operations across multiple stores in Delhi/NCR.Ensure SOP adherence, operational efficiency, and smooth store functioning.Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, inventory management, and store upkeep.Coordinate with warehouse, supply chain, VM, marketing, HR, and finance teams for seamless operations.Ensure shrinkage control and inventory accuracy across stores.Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop Regional Managers, Store Managers, and frontline teams.Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives.Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.Build a high-performance and customer-centric culture.Customer ExperienceEnsure exceptional customer service standards across all stores.Resolve escalated customer concerns and improve customer satisfaction metrics.Drive loyalty programs and repeat customer engagement initiatives.Strategic & Commercial ManagementPrepare business forecasts, budgets, and operational plans.Identify opportunities for new store openings and business expansion.Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives.Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Desired Candidate ProfileMBA/Graduate with specialization in Retail Management, Sales, or Operations preferred.12-18 years of experience in retail sales & operations, preferably in fashion/apparel/lifestyle brands.Strong exposure to multi-store operations and large team handling.Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales targets.Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.Willingness to travel extensively within Delhi/NCR.
