In this role, no two days are the same. You operate at the heart of the business, where finance meets operations, strategy, and execution.
You start your day connecting with your finance and commercial teams across South West Europe, aligning on priorities, reviewing key developments and ensuring we stay ahead of risks and opportunities.
During the day, you act as a trusted partner to the Head of SWE and the leadership team, actively contributing to strategic decisions, driving growth initiatives, and challenging the business with a clear, fact‑based perspective.
You work closely with operational teams, supporting offers, projects and customer engagements—making sure we not only deliver on our commitments but do so profitably and sustainably.
You bring transparency to financial performance, translating numbers into insights, enabling better decisions, and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability across the sub‑region.
At the same time, you drive continuous improvement, strengthening processes, enhancing performance steering, and identifying opportunities to simplify and accelerate how we work.

How You’ll Make a Difference
- Act as a trusted partner to the Head of Sub‑Region South West Europe, co‑owning the business performance and actively shaping strategic and operational decisions to drive profitable growth.
- Lead and steer all financial aspects of the sub‑region, ensuring strong performance management, clear transparency of results, and early identification of risks and opportunities.
- Drive commercial excellence by challenging and supporting the business in offers, project execution and customer engagements to ensure sustainable margin and cash performance.
- Ensure integrity of financials and full compliance with internal controls, while continuously strengthening our risk management and governance framework.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights, enabling better and faster decision‑making across the leadership team and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Lead, develop and empower a diverse finance and commercial team, building capabilities, encouraging collaboration and creating an environment where people can grow and perform at their best.
- Drive continuous improvement and simplification across financial and operational processes, enhancing efficiency, transparency and business steering.
- Contribute to the definition and execution of the Sub‑Region and EU&AF strategy, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and financial performance.
- Act as a strong ambassador of Siemens Energy values, promoting a culture of integrity, collaboration and high performance across the organisation.
What You Bring
- Senior finance leadership experience in a complex, project‑driven or service environment.
- Strong business partnering mindset, with the ability to influence, challenge and co‑steer decisions at senior leadership level.
- Solid expertise in financial planning, controlling and performance management, with a clear focus on driving profitable growth, margin and cash.
- Strong commercial acumen with hands‑on experience in offers, project execution and managing financial risks and opportunities.
- Deep understanding of financial governance, compliance and internal controls.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing and empowering high‑performing and diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable outcomes.
- Experience working in international and cross‑functional environments, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive alignment.
- Fluency in English and in at least one of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese or Italian.
