HT Cable Design & Costing Engineer (Export Division – Europe / USA)

We are looking for an experienced HT Cable Design & Costing Engineer to support our Export Division for the Europe, UK, and US markets. The candidate should have strong expertise in High Tension (11kV–66kV) XLPE Power Cable Design, Costing, and Techno-Commercial Proposal Preparation for international customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design HT Power Cables as per customer specifications and international standards.
• Prepare cable construction, technical datasheets, design calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Develop accurate product costing considering raw materials, manufacturing, testing, packing, and logistics.
• Review RFQs, technical specifications, and prepare techno-commercial quotations.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, BS, AEIC, ICEA, VDE, RoHS, and REACH.
• Coordinate with Export Sales, R&D, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Support value engineering, cost optimization, and new product development initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HT XLPE Power Cable Design & Costing.
• Experience with conductor sizing, insulation design, current carrying capacity, short-circuit calculations, and cable construction.
• Good understanding of international cable standards and export customer requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, ERP/SAP (Cable Design software preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
