Zopper is a series D-funded startup in the insurtech space. We enable large B2C businesses to offer insurance to their customers. We do this by fusing insurance and technology seamlessly to provide end-to-end solutions to our Business partners.

Based on the need of Business Partner, we create the Product i.e. customised insurance plans by partnering with Insurance companies. We then integrate these customised Insurance plans with the tech systems of the Business partners by creating customised APIs on our SAAS platform.

Role and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with General Insurance companies and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with insurers for product placement, quotations, underwriting approvals, and policy issuance.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and coverage with insurance partners to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
• Liaise with internal Sales, Operations, and Product teams to ensure timely closure of insurance requirements.
• Manage insurer onboarding, documentation, and periodic engagement.
• Stay updated on market trends, insurer guidelines, underwriting norms, and regulatory changes.
• Support strategic initiatives to strengthen insurer partnerships and improve placement efficien

Prerequisites

• 3–7 years of experience in General Insurance placement, insurer relationship management, or underwriting coordination.
• Mandatory experience with an Insurance Broking firm.
• Strong network and working relationships with General Insurance companies.
• Good understanding of General Insurance products, underwriting processes, and policy structures.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience in managing multiple insurer relationships simultaneously.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
