VNI Finance is delighted to be exclusively supporting our high-profile, Private Equity-backed International client in Glasgow with the recruitment of a newly created International Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to further develop their international tax and transfer pricing expertise within a highly regarded multinational environment. Working closely with senior tax leadership, you will gain exposure to a broad range of advisory, compliance and strategic projects across Europe.
The role offers a genuine blend of technical tax work and commercial stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with the business whilst continuing to develop their specialist tax knowledge. Key responsibilities will include: Tax Compliance & Transfer Pricing Oversee corporate tax compliance activities across the European acquired group. Support transfer pricing compliance requirements and documentation.
Work alongside external advisers and internal finance teams to ensure timely and accurate filings. Assist in monitoring tax risks and implementing appropriate controls. International Tax Advisory Support a range of international tax projects across the region.
Contribute to M&A transactions, corporate restructuring initiatives and cash repatriation projects. Assist with tax planning opportunities and the implementation of global tax strategies. Research and analyse tax legislation and emerging developments.
Business Partnering Act as a key point of contact for tax-related queries from regional stakeholders. Provide practical and commercially focused guidance to finance and operational teams. Build strong relationships across the wider finance function and international business.
Stakeholder Engagement Support senior leadership with tax reporting and project delivery. Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
Candidate Profile We are keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate: ICAS, ACCA and/or CTA qualification (or equivalent). Strong UK tax experience gained either in practice or industry. Exposure to international tax matters and a desire to further develop within a multinational environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
