Investment Counsellor, China Market, Private Bank

Our client is an International Private Bank based in Singapore. As part of its strategic expansion, our client is seeking an Investment Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding organization that is continuously enhancing its private banking services and investing in its growth.

About The JobAs an Investment Advisor, you will be responsible for offering bespoke investment advice and solutions to high-net-worth clients and families. You will leverage your expertise in financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management to help clients achieve their financial goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the Asian financial landscape and an ability to navigate complex investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:Manage investment portfolios, deliver strategic market advice, and recommend actionable investment ideas.Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.Collaborate with Relationship Managers to grow client portfolios and attract new business.Provide bespoke portfolio advice, identify investment opportunities, and monitor performance across asset classes.Conduct regular client meetings to review portfolios and offer personalized investment and financial planning strategies.Analyze client financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives to create customized solutions.Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and opportunities, especially within the Asian region.Act as the bank's representative in client events, investment forums and media appearances.Work closely with internal teams to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Qualifications:Over 6 years of experience as an Investment Advisor/ Counsellor in Private BankingExpertise in investment portfolio management and financial advisory.Strong knowledge of market trends and diverse asset classes including quantitative investment analysis.Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.Highly meticulous, detail-oriented, well-organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory as the role is required to communicate in this language.
