RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regulatory filings with IRDAI and other regulatory bodies
Tracking of IRDAI circulars and penalty orders and dissemination of the same to all Stakeholders
Identifying new laws and regulations applicable to the Co. and ensuring its implementation across functions also keeping track on updates of regulatory and other statutory requirements on an ongoing basis
Implementing processes and controls for IRDAI reporting and ensuring timely reporting with IRDAI and Board as per statutory requirements.
Preparing and updating compliance checklist for various departments in line with the IRDAI Act, Rules and Regulations
Ensuring implementation and closure of various actionable arising from new circulars/regulations
Communicating and sharing compliance requirements with stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with the IRDAI Guidelines on Outsourcing, AML, F&U, Advertisements, places of business etc.
Drafting and implementation of policies required as per regulatory requirements
Assisting in reviewing insurance policies & product related documents such as marketing and branding activities, customer communications, promotional materials and advertisements, sales and distribution related activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of IRDAI
Assisting in conducting need based Compliance training programs and awareness sessions
Filing various returns on BAP
Drafting and vetting of legal documents namely Non-Disclosure Agreement, Master Service Agreement etc.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Candidates should be LL.B / LLM / CS with about 8 to 10 years experience in the General Insurance, Compliance & Legal function.
