IT Manager - Network Manager - School

Salary: £35,000 - 41,000 per year Requirements Experience working as a Senior ICT Technician, Network Manager, Senior IT Technician, or in a similar school IT support role Background working within a school or education environment Good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software Working knowledge of maintaining networks Knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments, and backups Specific technical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper‑V, and cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure Ideally, experience upgrading a school IT system Friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Responsibilities Oversee the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the schools curriculum and administrative ICT network Manage the schools ICT hardware and software infrastructure Manage school ICT support contracts, technical support, and emergency cover Deliver consultative 2nd and 3rd line technical support Support the ongoing reliability and security of the schools ICT network Technologies Active Directory Azure Cloud Hardware Hyper‑V ICT Support Network Office 365 Security Windows About the Role We are a fast‑growing organisation that supplies outsourced IT services to the education sector.
