In this role, you will identify opportunities for optimisation using engineering metrics, operational insights, and user feedback, then collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver measurable improvements. Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse engineering improvement opportunities using data, operational metrics, and user feedback.
• Translate business and technical challenges into prioritised initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering Leads to deliver platform improvements.
• Support engineering teams by recommending best practices, standards, and effective ways of working.
• Define and track KPIs to measure the impact of engineering initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement through process optimisation, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software engineering or enterprise technology environments.
• Experience driving engineering or technology improvement initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and backlog prioritisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Good understanding of software engineering, platform engineering, or automation practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted programming or scripting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, SRE, observability, or developer experience improvements.
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments.
