Who we are
Hotwire delivers marketing solutions focused exclusively on technology companies in APAC. We
are looking for an enthusiastic person with an eye for detail to join our Finance team.
Accountabilities:
- Work with the Finance manager and other Hotwire global finance staff to ensure global
billing and expense reporting is accurate and consistent
Statutory and reporting requirements:
- Assist with half year and full year audit processes including preparation of all financial
information for review by Finance Manager
- Abide by Hotwire Finance team processes to ensure compliance with filing requirements for
all local taxation laws, transfer pricing and statutory obligations
- Assist with communications with corporate secretary on administrative paperwork for statutory compliances.
Management reporting requirements:
- Assist with compiling of month end consolidated group results and balance sheet
reconciliations
- Assist Finance Manager with preparation of monthly company management reporting pack
Revenue/sales ledger function:
- Assist with multiple costs of sales lines ensuring these are appropriately accounted for in
relation to the revenue recognition
- Involvement in month end close
- Helping create client invoices
- Ensuring that invoices are sent out accurately and on time to clients
- Responding in a timely manner to any invoice queries from clients or team
- Getting relevant POs/approvals from client or team for client invoices
Analytical reporting:
• Assist with production of monthly data analysis including job costings, servicing and
profitability levels
Assist with reconciliations:
• Banks
• POs
• Expenses and recharges
• Balance sheet
• Intercompany
Credit control:
• Monitoring outstanding debtors that are overdue
You’ll Bring:
• 2-3 years+ experience in a Junior Accountant or similar role or have experience with an
Audit firm
• Ideally you will be qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Experience with Paprika or a similar accounting system is desirable
• MS Excel (intermediate to advanced) and MS Word experience are essential
• Great problem solving skills
• Highly numerate and analytical in your approach to work
• Ability to chase and close off issues and be tenacious in these processes
• Impeccable attention to detail
