Junior Architect

WARD FOUR Design is an architecture and planning studio focused on healthcare and institutional projects on how the built environment supports the delivery of care. Our work is grounded in hospital operations, clinical workflows, human behaviour, and long-term performance.

With experience across India, East Africa, and the Caribbean, we design hospitals, cancer centres, healthcare campuses, senior living facilities, and training environments. Our services include master planning, architecture, medical and facility planning, interior design, documentation, and construction administration.

JUNIOR ARCHITECT.

1 - 3 YEAR EXPERIENCE

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect position based in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting the design and planning of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare environments under the guidance of senior team members.

Responsibilities include concept development, space planning, architectural drawings, 3D modelling, presentations, construction documentation, and coordination with engineering and specialist consultants. The Junior Architect will also participate in design reviews, site visits, coordination meetings, and internal discussions, helping ensure that projects respond to clinical workflows, operational requirements, codes, and quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundation in architectural design, planning, and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related design tools.
• Strong visual, graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise project information, track deadlines, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in healthcare architecture, evidence-based design, clinical workflows, BIM coordination, and code compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment.
