Job Description
To plan and implement musical activities to develop students' motor skills, social skills, sensory perception, auditory awareness, expressive and receptive language, and to increase discrimination skills, body and spatial awareness. Responsibilities Plan and implement musical activities (including seasonal) based on age and functional capabilities to increase student auditory awareness, stimulate expressive and receptive language, and improve body and spatial awareness. Ensure that students' musical activities are carried out and that the students enjoy them, assisting in improvement of body and spatial awareness.
Perform additional related duties as requested by supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience working with children with developmental disabilities and aptitude for music preferred (singing and/or instruments).
