You'll work closely with stakeholders to influence technical decisions, define engineering standards and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance software development with technical oversight, coaching developers, reviewing code and driving continuous improvement across the engineering function.
LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER – ESSENTIAL SKILLS Significant commercial experience as a Software Engineer Previous experience leading or mentoring software development teams Strong understanding of software architecture and modern engineering principles Experience delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Passion for coaching and developing engineers Happy working 3–5 days per week on-site in Lincoln
