Job Title: Lead – US Stocks
Location: Mumbai / Bengaluru
We are looking for an experienced business leader to build, scale, and own our US Stocks business. This is a strategic leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for defining the vision, driving growth, and delivering business outcomes for one of our key investment offerings.
As the Business Owner, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the business—from strategy and go-to-market to product innovation, pricing, customer acquisition, partnerships, and commercial performance. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to establish a market-leading platform for investing in global equities.
This role is ideal for someone who has built and scaled digital businesses, products, or investment platforms and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Ownership & Strategy
- Own the end-to-end P&L and growth of the US Stocks business.
- Define the long-term business vision, strategic roadmap, and annual operating plan.
- Identify new growth opportunities, revenue streams, and business models to accelerate scale.
- Drive sustainable growth while balancing customer experience, profitability, and regulatory requirements.
Go-to-Market & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Identify target customer cohorts and define tailored acquisition, engagement, and cross-sell strategies.
- Build scalable growth engines across digital channels, partnerships, referrals, and ecosystem integrations.
- Drive adoption of the US Stocks offering through data-driven experimentation and continuous optimization.
Product & Customer Experience
- Own the product vision and roadmap for the US Stocks business.
- Identify customer pain points and market opportunities to launch differentiated products and features.
- Prioritize initiatives that improve onboarding, trading experience, customer engagement, and long-term retention.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Design, Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Commercial Strategy
- Define pricing, brokerage, subscription, and monetization strategies that enhance customer value while improving business profitability.
- Evaluate commercial levers, promotional campaigns, and pricing experiments using data and market insights.
Business Analytics & Performance
- Own business performance metrics and establish a robust operating cadence.
- Lead funnel analysis across acquisition, onboarding, activation, funding, trading, and retention to improve conversion and customer lifetime value.
- Leverage customer cohort analysis and behavioural insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Present business performance, strategic recommendations, and investment priorities to senior leadership.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Continuously benchmark the US Stocks offering against domestic and global competitors.
- Track industry trends, customer behaviour, regulatory developments, and emerging investment products.
- Recommend strategic initiatives to strengthen competitive positioning and create differentiated customer value.
Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic priorities with speed and excellence.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Customer Support to successfully launch and scale initiatives.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on customer obsession, innovation, accountability, and execution.
Who you are:
- 6-8 years of experience in business leadership, general management, strategy, product management, category management, or P&L ownership within fintech, wealth management, capital markets, broking, asset management, or digital financial services.
- Proven track record of building, launching, and scaling high-growth businesses, digital platforms, or investment products.
- Demonstrated experience owning business strategy, GTM execution, customer growth, and commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of investment products, capital markets, and customer behaviour in wealth management.
- Experience driving pricing strategy, business analytics, funnel optimization, customer segmentation, and profitability initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into business outcomes.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and the ability to influence across senior leadership teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, ownership, and delivering measurable business impact.
