We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Nouryon GCC as Lease Deputy Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a range of activities related to the leasing (IFRS16), which includes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with company policies, and driving continuous improvement within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lease accounting and analysis: Review, analyze, and interpret complex lease agreements to ensure correct accounting treatment. This includes evaluating lease terms, options, and renewals.
- Lease management system: Based on all evaluation, lease accountant will be responsible to create the IFRS 16 contract in PLANON tool.
- Financial reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports as per company policy and procedure.
- Month-end close: Complete the IFRS16 related posting using interface between PLANON and SAP, resolve IDOC error (if any).
- Reconciliation: Reconcile lease-related balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards (IFRS 16) and assist with internal and external audits & SOX controls.
- Liaising to various stakeholder: Will be responsible for liaising with various stakeholder based on contract open in ARIBA and reconciliation of lease suspense account to get the IFRS16 contract created in PLANON. Coordinate with technical accounting and global teams for queries and process improvements.
- SOP Management : Built and maintain SOPs for all Lease transactions and ensure compliance with company policy.
Qualifications:
CA/CMA with a minimum of 8-10years of relevant experience in IFRS16 accounting and reporting or a similar financial reporting role.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees at all levels within the organization.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday (Flexible timings) with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
