Job Description
Responsibilities :Develop and implement corporate legal strategies, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Oversee all legal aspects of the company, including contracts, permits, corporate legal documents, and asset legality.Manage and review all business and project-related contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and execution.Ensure all company licenses and permits are valid, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.Handle corporate legal documentation, including maintenance, storage, and updates of legal records.Lead litigation processes, dispute resolution (litigation and non-litigation), and coordinate with external legal parties (lawyers, notaries, regulators).Conduct legal due diligence for projects, investments, and corporate actions.Manage company assets (land, buildings, vessels) from a legal and compliance perspective.Oversee insurance claim processes, ensuring proper handling, risk mitigation, and adherence to SOP.Provide legal oversight on financial exposure, including contract terms impacting cash flow, claim recoverability, and liquidity risks.Collaborate with Finance to ensure legal strategies, contracts, and dispute resolutions support the company’s liquidity and financial sustainability.Provide legal advice and strategic input to management and support business decision-making.Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (government institutions, regulators, partners).Lead and manage the Legal & Insurance Claim team to ensure operational excellence and alignment with company objectives. Requirements :Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S1 Hukum); Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in legal roles, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial position.Proven experience in handling corporate legal matters, contracts, litigation, and legal due diligence.Experience in managing insurance claims and risk mitigation is highly preferred.Proven experience in handling legal cases related to liquidity management, including impacts on cash flow, financial exposure, and risk mitigation.Licensed Advocate (PERADI or equivalent) is mandatory.Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulatory compliance, licensing, and contract drafting.Excellent negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.High integrity, strong stakeholder focus, and continuous improvement mindset.
