What You'll DoAs a Level 1 Service Technician, you'll perform diagnostic and repair work on residential HVAC systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical issues
- Perform brazing and refrigeration repairs when needed
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Clearly explain repairs completed to homeowners
- Identify larger repair or replacement opportunities and refer them to senior technicians when appropriate
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job notes
- Keep your service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
- Represent Everest Air with professionalism and integrity on every service call
- Minimum 1 year of residential HVAC service and troubleshooting experience
- Confident performing basic diagnostics and repairs independently
- Experience with brazing and refrigeration work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Coachable with a desire to continue learning
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Organized and able to effectively manage truck inventory
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must provide your own hand tools
- EPA Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
