Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Coordinator for a busy well-established niche Freight Forwarder based in the Feltham, Middlesex area.The position is to provide the effective delivery of valuable cargo consignments for clients and provide excellent customer service.The role will be dealing with all Export and Import shipments from start to finish within Airfreight, Roadfreight, Seafreight and Courier. Duties:-Coordinating worldwide multimodal exports and imports (Air, Road, Sea and Courier)Managing bookings, collections, transport, and liaising with overseas agents/customersPreparing and processing shipping documentationSubmitting import & export customs entriesBuilding strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to deliver excellent serviceProviding quotations, pricing jobs, and raising invoices accuratelyHandling multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating effectively at all timesExperience Needed:-Imports or exports (or both) within the freight forwarding industryExcellent customer service skills with a professional telephone mannerHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work to strict deadlinesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, time-critical environmentBenefits:-Annual and Performance bonusesAdditional payments (on call once trained)Career progression opportunities within a growing businessHours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm, once fully trained there will be an on call rota 1 in 5 / 6 weekends (from home) paid as overtime and also have the Monday offAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
