Job Description
The Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services through effective team leadership and operational oversight. This role involves managing team performance, developing staff capabilities, and ensuring consistent service delivery across all client engagements. The Manager oversees the preparation and review of complex deliverables while maintaining strong relationships with clusters and stakeholders.
Additionally, this position drives operational excellence through monitoring and managing of key performance indicators (KPIs), resource optimization, and quality assurance. The Manager also provides technical guidance on complex client requirements, supervises and coordinates the team’s activities, ensuring compliance with IQ-EQ's policies and procedures.
What you'll do
- You’ll lead and manage team performance to deliver high-quality accounting services, overseeing complex deliverables and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, client agreements, and quality standards.
- You’ll drive operational excellence by monitoring KPIs, optimizing resource allocation (staff, budgets, and time), and implementing process standardization and quality control measures.
- You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clusters and stakeholders while acting as the escalation point for complex client and team-related matters.
- You’ll provide technical leadership in corporate accounting areas (bookkeeping, financial statements, GL reconciliation, AP/AR, RTR, intercompany accounting, MANCO accounts) with working knowledge of US GAAP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- You’ll develop team capabilities through coaching, feedback, and training while demonstrating accountability, integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach to achieving business goals.

Qualifications
- You hold an MBA along with a qualification or progress toward CA/CMA (Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant).
- You bring strong academic knowledge in accounting, finance, and corporate reporting to support complex client requirements.
- You demonstrate a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles relevant to corporate accounting functions.
- You complement your qualifications with hands-on experience in accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- You apply your educational background and professional training to drive accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
