Job Overview• Job Title: Manager - Engineering and Design• Department: Design & Engineering Role SummaryWe are hiring an experienced Manager Engineering and Design to lead our water and wastewatertreatment projects from concept to final commissioning. You will manage end-to-end system designand coordinate with various teams, requiring strong hands-on expertise in water treatmenttechnologies like ETP, STP, WTP, RO/UF, ZLD, and advanced biological treatments (MBBR, MBR, SBR,etc.). Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Design• Develop detailed designs for comprehensive water and wastewater treatment systems,focusing on ETP/STP/WTP, RO/UF systems, and sand filters, based on precise projectrequirements and specifications.• Prepare comprehensive basic and detailed engineering packages.• Prepare, review, and approve critical engineering deliverables, including Process &Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, hydrauliccalculations, and equipment sizing.• Create detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Hydraulic Flow Diagrams (HFDs), fabricationdrawings, and sectional drawings.• Design complete plant layouts, piping routes, skids, and major Bills of Materials (BOMs).• Prepare technical datasheets for pumps, blowers, instruments, and other mechanicalequipment.• Utilize specialized water treatment design software and meticulously review civil/structuraldrawings.• Ensure strict adherence to industry standards, safety guidelines, and internal company qualityprocedures throughout the engineering lifecycle.Project & Operations Execution• Lead end-to-end project execution from initial concept development through to final on-sitecommissioning.• Conduct dedicated site visits for accurate field data collection and direct client coordination.• Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensurea smooth project flow and timely delivery.• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to accurately estimate project costs,manage material requirements, and establish realistic project timelines.Qualifications & Experience• Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. or B. Tech) in Chemical, Environmental, MechanicalEngineering or relevant.• Experience: 12+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in the design and engineering ofwater/wastewater treatment plants.• Domain Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of Water Treatment Processes, including ETP,STP, WTP, Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration (UF) systems, multi-grade Sand Filters, andEffluent Recycle plants.
Key Skills & Competencies• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or industry-specifichydraulic modelling tools.• Strong understanding of process engineering, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and pump sizing.• Excellent project execution, timeline estimation, and cross-functional coordination skills.• Strong communication skills for effectively liaising with internal departments, externalcontractors, and vendors
